Visiting the website
When you access a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to our web server: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser and operating system, and the previously visited page. We use this data solely to deliver the website and to protect it against attacks, and we delete the logs after 14 days. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS.
We operate the website on our own servers in Vienna; no external hosting provider is involved.
Cookies
We do not use any analytics or advertising services and do not embed fonts, videos, maps or scripts from third parties. Only when you submit a form (newsletter) do we set a technically necessary cookie that protects the form against misuse; it contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
Newsletter
For the newsletter we store your e-mail address and the time of registration. You first receive an e-mail with a confirmation link; we only send the newsletter after you have confirmed (double opt-in). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every issue or by e-mail to newsletter_global@imscargo.com. After you unsubscribe, we no longer use the address for mailings.
Contact by e-mail or phone
If you write to us or call us, we process your details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We delete the data as soon as it is no longer needed; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
Customer portal (track & trace)
Separate terms within the scope of the business relationship apply to the customer portal.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact office@imscargo.com. If you believe that we are not processing your data lawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).
