Storm over Rotterdam, Delays of the Rhine-Shuttle between Rotterdam and Switzerland
Because of a severe storm, the port of Rotterdam did temporarily stop all loading/unloading processes for vessels, trains and trucks at all terminals.
We are currently verifying if a departure with a 24 hrs delay will be possible. Further information as soon as available.
Also for northwestern Switzerland a storm warning was announced for the afternoon of January 5, 2012. It is therefore possible that the Basel (region) terminals are going to be closed as well.
Serious delays in both directions have to be expected.
