Introduction of an automatic release check for rail dispatch
We just got informed by Eurogate that as from 15th of November 2011 a new checking program of EUROGATE Hamburg will be activated, which will enable an automatic check of the pick-up reference.
In the rail sector the field “pick-up reference” of the HABIS transport order will be matched with reference give by the shipping line to the terminal.
The transport order can only get the status ready if the pick up reference is matching to the reference on hand by the terminal.
This release check will be applied for following shipping lines:
· Hapag Lloyd
· APL
· COSCO
· Hanjin
· YML
· Hyundai
· ZIM
· MSC
· Maersk
· NYK
· Safmarine
To make sure that there will be no delays, the new checking function will be activated step by step.
We do ask You to equip your transport orders with the pick up reference submitted by the shipping line as from 15th of November 2011.
Containers ex depots 600 (EUROKOMBI-owned depots) are not effected by this alternation.
