Update – Situation at CTB Hamburg
Due to the increasingly escalating situation on the CTB in Hamburg, we must inform you that the situation of hinterland transports will still exacerbate and we do not reckon that the situation will improve in the next days.
As a result, the degree of filling of the hinterland terminals due to insufficient storage capacity grows continuous and it will be continued the acceptance locks.
Currently, the CTB is rail-side not engaged and the containers will be redirected to the Terminals EKOM and CTA.
This has the consequence that also on these terminals delays occur, which are not influenced by us.
Also the railwaystation Hamburg Waltershof reached ist capacity limit so even incoming trains not running on the CTB will be parked in the frontstation.
A current statement of HHLA is not available at this time.
Precautionary we have to inform you, that the liability for any costs resulting (e.g.: storage, demurrage, detention) out of a.m. problems is excluded by us.
