“Rhine Shuttle Basel” - 3rd roundtrip from 29.11.2013
We are glad to inform you, that the new timetable of the “Rhine Shuttle Basel” offers you for your export containers a new departure on Saturday from Frenkendorf CT.
The start of this new service will be the 29th November 2013.
The closing time for your export containers will be Friday 17:00 h (all transport documents has to be transmitted by 15:00 h on Friday). The delivery of the Saturday departure from Frenkendorf will be on Sunday in Rotterdam RSC, on Monday in Rotterdam ECT and on Tuesday in Rotterdam Euromax.
The new closing time in Frenkendorf CT will allow you, to send your export containers even on Friday evening.
In the direction North – South (Import Rotterdam – Frenkendorf CT) the third weekly train-roundtrip will leave on Thursday resp. Friday and will arrive in Frenkendorf on Saturday.
The availability will be on the following Monday. Also in this direction (N-S) this new roundtrip with ist additional capacity allows to reduce waiting times even during the peak season.
The new train will be charged/discharged in Frenkendorf CT on Saturday. The road entrance in Frenkendorf is closed on Saturday, therefore a delivery or pick by truck is not possible on Saturday.
For your customers in the Zurich Area and in the eastern part of Switzerland (Ostschweiz) we offer with our “Rhine Shuttle Zurich” (Rotterdam – Rekingen v.v.) also a now fix scheduled third train roundtrip per week.
Also in Rekingen CT you will find a departure on Friday, which is – with the possibility of a late arrival - ideal for your export containers.
