Inauguration of the „Brabo-Shuttle” - Antwerp Zomerweg – Frenkendorf CT

We are glad to inform you, that we are under the name “Brabo-Shuttle” (Silvius Brabo is according to a legend the hero of the town of Antwerp) able to offer you a further direct service for unaccompanied containers between Switzerland and one of the major ports in the north sea range. The “Brabo-Shuttle” complets our actual network in a ideal way and will offer you at ist start at the 22th October 2013 the following services:

• Antwerp Zomerweg – Frenkendorf CT in a overnight service TUE and THU
• Frenkendorf CT – Antwerp Zomerweg in a overnight service WED and FRI (Arr. MON)
• Barge-connections between the following quays (Q420, Q730, Q86, Q913, Q1700, Q1742) and Antwerp Zomerweg
• Other quays will be connected by truck
• Daily train-antennas Antwerp Zomerweg to/from Zeebrügge Deep-Sea
• Connection in Frenkendorf CT to/from all operated private sidings and stations in Switzerland “Swiss Split”

Please notice, that the „Arrival Notice“ containing Call Reference und Lloyd Number is essential for every booking from Antwerp and Zeebrügge. Please transmit this document together with the PIN Code before the End of the Booking Circuit of the concerned train to IMS.

Through to our contract with a famous and serious railway company, IMS will also be in the position to offer a high quality service on this new service. You as our customer can also profit of a short overnight service as well as of high schedule stability and reliability.

The “Brabo-Shuttle” transports for you:

• maritime containers 20’ – 40’
• reefer containers 20’ – 40’ (without power connection)
• tank containers 20’, 25’, 30’
• special containers 20’ – 40’
• swap bodies 7.45 – 12 m (from December extended gauge)
• open top container
• flat container
• other units on demand

On demand a round-trip-based transport of trailers will also be possible. Generally the handling of swap bodies is possible without any problems in Frenkendorf CT as well as in Antwerp Zomerweg.

With the concentration of our traffics in Frenkendorf CT you may not only profit of a well established process, but it offers you also the possibility to combine your truckings for our trains from/to Rotterdam and Italy in an ideal way with the new Antwerp service. Furthermore with the connection of the “Frenkendorf-Melzo- Shuttle” you can profit of a service Antwerp - Italy.

Also the “Brabo-Shuttle” offers our traditional service in one hand for the feeding lines per rail to/from all operated Swiss railway stations and private sidings (Swiss Split service). Further services will be offered on demand.
