Heavy snowfall in Rotterdam - Terminals are closed
Since yesterday evening 14.01.2013, due to heavy weather all traffic in and around Rotterdam is collapsed.
All terminals have closed at 11:50 p.m. and stay closed until this moment.
It can’t be seen, when the terminals will start working again.
This will directly influence our traffic as follows:
- Roundtrip Rotterdam – Frenkendorf 15.01./16.01.2013 have to be cancelled.
- All import – container will be loaded onto the next trains to Frenkendorf and Weil.
- For all oncoming containers afterwards, we have to drop the loading onto the next one and so on. We double – check when and under which conditions we will be able to handle a special train.
- All export – container that was planned to be loaded on 16.01.2013 in Frenkendorf will be shift to our train on Friday 18.01.2013.
- The roundtrip Rekingen 16.01./17.01.2013 should take place as planned for the moment, if ECT starts working until today 09:30 p.m.
