Shortage of railcars in Austria
Since the beginning of calendar week 48 there is a severe shortage of wagons for container cars.
Although this problem is concerning all terminals, the situation is particularly dramatic due to a high volume at the terminal in Salzburg.
Daily RCA (Rail Cargo Austria) is feeding wagons but the congestion is enormous and therefore delays have to be expected accordingly.
As from when an easing of the situation can be expected Messrs RCA cannot predict at present.
Your consignments are getting booked at the terminal and will be dispatched as per availability.
