Rhine-Shuttle Rotterdam – Switzerland v.v.
As announced with our operational news 03/11, the Rhine-Shuttle Rotterdam – Switzerland v.v. will be definitely operated again via terminal Frenkendorf CT as from Monday April 4, 2011.
The last Rhine-Shuttle departure from Rotterdam MVL/RSC and Birsfelden CT (Cobi) will take place on Friday, April 1, 2011. Export consignments from Birsfelden Hafen CT may be delivered to this terminal until Thursday March 31, 2011, 06 p.m. After this deadline deliveries need to be done via Frenkendorf CT.
The operating of the Rhine-Shuttle via Frenkendorf does allow us to use the full train capacity again and we may therefore offer you additional loading spots for import/export consignments The departure/arrival days remain unchanged Mon/Wed/Fri from Frenkendorf CT and Tue/Thu/Sat from Rotterdam with an arrival in Frenkendorf the next day. A detailed schedule will be published soon.

Deliveries to Frenkendorf for export units:
Export-Containers have to be ready for loading at 06 p.m. the day prior to the train’s departure.
For Monday’s departure the delivery to the terminal hast has to be done on Friday’s until 06 p.m.
For exceptional cases a delivery on the same day until 12 noon may be arranged.
It is mandatory that the necessary documentation (like exportation declaration, invoices, loading lists – for moving goods and consolidated cargo etc.) have to be at our disposal in time for us to fill in the T-document. These documents need to be at hand prior to the delivery of the unit at the terminal.
